Mother & Child Education Center is here for you… If you think you might be pregnant, know you are pregnant or hope to one day become pregnant. If you care about someone who is, might be, or hopes to be pregnant. If you are a parent, grandparent, foster parent, or caregiver of a little child.
No Restrictions: All are welcome. Our services are free. You do not need to bring ID or proof of income. You do not need to live in a specific area. You do not need to make an appointment. See Contact Us.

Quiet conversation is our specialty! Whether you have a quick question, or want to spend an hour talking things through—if you have pregnancy or parenting concerns, phone us anytime. Your call is answered locally, day or night.

Pregnancy Tests
No appointment is necessary. Tests are free and confidential. You will be given the results immediately.
Clothing & Supplies
Clothing & supplies for pregnancy and nursing mothers are available to all moms even without an appointment. Stop by anytime we are open and choose the items you need.
Emergency supplies for baby are also available whenever we are open. It is best to phone ahead to be certain we have what you need. These are the items that are usually on hand: blankets, diapers, formula, baby food, sleepers.
Once a month on the Second Saturday we throw open the doors of Mother & Child and you are invited to join the fun! Meet other moms, choose clothes for your infant and preschooler, learn something new. Light lunch is served. All items we have collected throughout the month are available on the Second Saturday, 10am-1pm.
Info & Referrals
Our kind and knowledgeable staff creatively assist mothers, fathers and others in meeting the challenges of parenting. You will find helpful information in our reference library of books, pamphlets and DVDs. Each open house event features an educational topic of special interest to parents. We offer classes, workshops and mentoring opportunities throughout the week.

Our classes are small and informal. You will learn from the instructors and from each other.
